Welcome to Art of Montessori

We are located in Historic Elk Grove, California. You’ll find us near the intersection of Elk Grove Blvd and Elk Grove Florin Rd. 

Art of Montessori preschool is the perfect union of the Dr Maria Montessori’s hands on method of education and the Reggio Emilia holistic expression of education through experiences. This canvas provides a seamless blending of theory and practice that establishes our focus on the child’s development as a whole: mind, body and spirit. As a team of teachers, we are passionate about sowing the seeds of virtuous character traits in the hearts and minds of kids. It is a subtle and delicate art to encourage and develop children to become self-motivated, compassionate and generous individuals and it happens naturally and holistically through the quality of our school environment and the genuine caring relationships that grow between children, their teachers and their friends. Our aim is to instill in each child a desire to learn and to be part of a community of friends who can appreciate each other’s ideas, contribute to creative expressions and celebrate each other’s discoveries.

Our program for children 18 months through 5 years old is open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. We also provide an early drop off option to support working parents. We believe that parents are the most important people in the life of a young child and we aim to nurture the parent-teacher relationship that benefit the children and families in our school. To this end, we encourage strong, consistent communication and mutual respect. We offer collaboration and resources for our parents so they can actively participate in their child’s education.
